Partick 6-1 Livingston- Match Report

Thistle run riot

Partick remain within two points of league leaders Morton after thumping Livingston 6-1.

The hosts took the lead after 19 minutes when Aaron Muirhead scored from the penalty spot after Paul Watson was adjudged to have handled inside the area.

Steven Craig doubled the advantage three minutes later when he rose highest to head home Sean Welsh's cross.

Victory was all but ensured just after the half-hour mark when James Craigen produced a fine strike from the edge of the box.

Steven Lawless added further gloss with a close-range effort two minutes before the break but Watson did go some way to making amends with a consolation goal on the stroke of half-time.

The Jags were relentless after the break as Chris Erskine converted Kris Doolan's cross in the 56th minute.

Doolan got his name on the scoresheet after 69 minutes when he was well-placed to finish after some good work by Aaron Sinclair.
