Gretna 2 Partick Thistle 2
A 90th minute penalty by Sean Kilgannon earned the Jags a point after they had trailed table-toppers Gretna 2-0.
Gretna had looked home and dry with goals either side of half-time before they gifted Thistle a chance to get back into the match.
Big Gretna defender Derek Townsley slipped as he shaped to meet a Kilgannon cross in the 51st minute, and his misguided header looped over home keeper Alan Main for Finnish 20 year old Jukka Santala to head into the open goal.
Gretna had gone in front in the 31st minute, when Thistle keeper Kenny Arthur spilled a Ryan Baldacchino cross under pressure form Kenny Deuchar and David Bingham snapped up the loose ball to pick his spot.
Before that, Ricky Gillies had brought a fine save from Main, with an in-swinging free kick from wide on the left that the keeper palmed onto the bar and over.
Main turned a fizzing Kilgannon free-kick round the post a minute before the break to ensure that Gretna turned round in front.
And, four minutes after the re-start the Black and Whites doubled their lead with a well taken goal. Ryan McGuffie sent Baldacchino chasing a long ball down the right, and when the winger crossed James Grady gave Arthur no chance with a diving header into the top corner.
But Thistle, backed by a big following, were given fresh heart when Santala pulled a goal back.
And when they broke quickly from a Gretna corner in the final minute, unhappy Derek Townsley brought down nippy Jimmy Gibson and Kilgannon fired the spot-kick low to keeper Main's left.
