Pre season going well

Jimmy Bone is pleased with events at training so far this season and is delighted the boys have settled in well:

"No player has returned to us with any problems in terms of weight. All bar one have come back within a pound of their limit, and the one that was over was due to working hard over the summer on the weights.

My method of training sees the boys work very hard with double sessions every day but to counter that they do get to see the ball nearly every session which I think helps them mentally. The boys have all worked very well and definitely are gelling well together too which is very important.

On the signing front we have got plenty of matters in hand but nothing yet is concluded, but we will continue to search and hopefully we will have some news in the not too distant future. We have had one or two trialists in action too, with Stevie Nicholas being the most publicised. He has looked really good in training so far and we will take him up North and see how he does. If all goes well then I think there is a fair chance that we will sign him up, but we will wait and see."
