No blame on pitch

Derek Whyte tells the official site that after training at Neww Douglas Park yesterday they will not make any complaints about it and are ready to go.

"Although I much prefer to play on grass, this surface is so much better than Dunfermline's effort and we can have no excuses on Saturday. It is the same for both teams and I feel that we will be able to adapt without any problems. No matter what result we gain on Saturday we will not be criticising the surface.

As far as the squad is concerned we have no real problems. Andy Dowie is back from Hungary, although it was disappointing that it was a full 24 hours after the game, while everyone else is fully fit, including Armand One who looked really good in training game on Tuesday, and Ian Ross is very nearly ready to return as well, he hopefully could feature in the reserve game against Falkirk on Wednesday.

Hamilton have a similar side to that which we beat in the Scottish Cup last season but they have made a couple of very significant signings and like every other game we will treat them with great respect and we expect nothing other than a tough game on Saturday."
