Jags boss Dick Campbell would have only dreamed that after one month in charge at Firhill he would be named Bells First Division Manager of the Month for January but his dream became reality today!! . Thistle remain unbeaten in the league since the turn of the year, and the former Brechin city man has helped the Jags to two wins and a draw in his three league games in charge.

The only defeat the Jags have suffered since Campbell moved into the Firhill hotseat very close cup game at Tynecastle when the Jags lost out to a last-minute goal in the after earning a replay with a goalless draw at Firhill.

Campbell’s smile would have only grown when it was announced that his very much on form 6 foot 4 attacker Armand Oné was named as Bells Young Player of the Month. After getting a magnificent double in the shock 2-1 win over leuge leaders Falkirk while John Lambie was in the dug out, the giant forward grabbed another three (four if you ask Armand) during January , helping the Jags to move out of the relegation.
