Alex Clelland, former Rangers and Everton player, signed on as the new under 19's coach replacing Chic Charnley and relieving James Grady of the duties. He will join up with new coach John Mclaughlin.
On Thursday Thistle signed former Dundee goalkeeper Jamie Langfield. Jamie will be between the sticks on Saturday against his former employers Dundee, replacing Kenny Arthur who was injured in action on Saturday against Morton and is expected to be out for 2-3 weeks.
Striker John Gemmell has been allowed to talk to Hamilton Accies about a potential loan deal to the end of the season. However he will not be allowed to play in the forthcoming Scottish Cup fixture against the mighty Jags.
