Raith Rovers captain Iain Davidson will begin the new season serving a ban for his side's clash with Partick Thistle.Mark Campbell is also missing as he continues his recovery from a car crash he experienced six months ago.

Partick Thistle are without long term absentees Alan Archibald and Jackie McNamara for the trip.

The defenders are suffering from lengthy injury lay-offs and the club is trying to add Hearts defender Conrad Balatoni in time for kick off.
