The Board of Partick Thistle FC Ltd, having given the matter further detailed consideration, unanimously decided to exercise its right of appeal to the Scottish Football Association against the decision taken by the SPL on Tuesday 22 June 2004.
PTFC has consistently argued that this matter ought to be determined by the SFA, the ultimate arbiter in the Scottish game, and it would, therefore, have been illogical to take any other decision.
The Club hopes that the matter will be addressed by the SFA as soon as possible.
Pending the hearing of the appeal, no further statement will be made by Partick Thistle FC Ltd.
