And the Mystery Man is…….Armand One!! The un-named trialist today signed for Thistle on a 6-month deal until the January transfer window. The 21 yr old French striker scored Thistle’ only goal in the game against Fulham on Wednesday night. He spoke to the official site.
“got a call from my agent asking me to go to Scotland for a trial and it interested me as I knew nothing about Scottish football before coming here. I enjoyed the game on Wednesday and it was very good to score and the fans were very good to me and also what pleased me was the way in which the other players helped to make me feel at home, it is a very good atmosphere at the club.
I was surprised that myself and Juan did so well as we play in very different types of leagues with nothing really similar so it was good that we got on so well together. My last game before this one was about 6 months ago so I am a bit short of fitness so I will probably need another couple of weeks before I am fully fit but I am looking forward to this new challenge."
Thistle have also signed goalkeeper Neil Bennett. The former Airdrie stopper will be back up for both Kenny Arthur and Stephen Pinkowski making him 3rd choice keeper. Although he will be looking to prove himself for first team starts. He has also signed a 6-month deal up until the January transfer window.
