A re-vote was taken today after Thistle had originally won the first vote on the 1st of June, the outcome of today's vote = Thistle will be playing First Division Football next season.

A re-vote was ordered after Hibs and Hearts claimed they had not had clear advice when making their desicion at first.
Thistle challenged this at the court of session yesterday and today but Lord Brodie decided to deny the clubs application for interm interdict meaning the second vote to take place.

The vote was lost 10-2, Dundee being the other club voting in Thistle's favour.

Thistle have decided not to appeal today's desicion and accept their place in division 1 and start to build for the new season.

The SPL also voted in favour of reducing the minimum seating rule from 10,000 to 6,000 seats.
