Speaking to the official site Lee Hinds told of how much he is relishing coming up against former club Clyde in the opening game of season.
He said :
It has been on the cards for quite some time and I was just waiting to sort things out with Aberdeen. I was not in any hurry to leave but when the new manager told me that I was surplus to requirements then it was best all round if I moved on. I was very impressed with the management when I spoke to them and I know a couple of the boys here anyway, and having played against Thistle in the past I know that this is a good club to play at.

I signed just a little too late on Saturday to be involved so I watched as we beat Brechin 3-0 and I was very impressed with the strikers. Getting into the team is going to be very difficult but all players like some competition, it means you do have to be on your toes at all times. If selected, it would be ideal if I could make my debut at Broadwood, I am sure that I will get a great reception off the home fans! There really would be something ironic about a 2-0 win with goals from Mitchell and Hinds!"
